Troubleshooting VMS Issues

  • View VMS portals ask for a password change every 45 days. This gets updated in CEIPAL ATS. 

 

  • If a password is typed or used incorrectly, the password VMS status will be automatically turned off for security purposes.

 

  • If the password VMS status is ON and the requirements are not posted in CEIPAL, double check in the VMS portal if the requirement is triggered to the correct email address. 

 

  • Try forwarding a sample requirement to the email address in the VMS. If everything is working fine with CEIPAL, try forwarding the email address which was added by the client to see if the email address was correctly configured in the client’s distribution list. 

 

  • If the issue persists even after going through the above steps, please contact your CEIPAL POC.
