Important Points to Remember when Enabling Business Units

Before requesting for enablement of a new Business Unit, please read the following points:

    1. Records of Job Posting, Clients, Leads, Vendors, Placements, Job Requisition, eBoarding and other modules (except records of Applicants and Talent Bench modules), are separate for each Business Unit (BU).
    2. Applicants and Talent Bench module records are common for all Business Units.
    3. Users can be enabled access to more than one BU but they will need to open each BU to see the respective records.
    4. When a User makes a Submission in a Business Unit, Applicant(s) can be submitted to Jobs added to that particular BU only, not to Jobs added to any other BU.
    5. In CEIPAL BI, the user must select relevant BU(s) in the Report Filter to view reports generated of the data from the selected BUs. However, the user can only select those BUs they have access to. Moreover, reports of the Applicants and Talent Bench modules cannot be filtered based on the BU field as the records are common for all BUs.
    6. A BU can be disabled/removed for a user but the system will ask the Admin to delegate the records assigned to/created/owned by the user within the BU to another user in the BU. The BU can be removed only after the delegation is completed.
    7. Once a Business Unit is activated for an account, it can be disabled once only. And it is NOT possible to re-enable the BU or transfer the records to another BU.

Once CEIPAL enables a new Business Unit for you, please follow these steps to add it to your account.
