How to edit the role-wise access to modules and actions?

To specify the role-wise permissions for different modules: 

1. Click on your profile icon
2. Click on Admin Setup 
3. Go to Access Management
4. Click on Access Control 
5. Choose relevant module from the dropdown on the top right side
6. Click on the Edit icon next to the relevant role 
7. Select the actions and access accordingly 
8. Click Save
