Diversity & Inclusion: We’re Not There Yet

The importance of diversity within organizations has been recognized for years. However, despite much talk, many organizations are still lagging in creating truly diverse and inclusive workplaces. The events of 2020 have taken awareness of and urgency around D&I to a whole new level, with CEOs vowing to make the diversity of their workforce a key priority. But moving from talk to action is not easy, does not occur overnight and takes everyone to make it happen. Although it may not be easy, helping your client realize their D&I goals is of critical importance.

Dawn is responsible for leading and overseeing SIA’s CWS Council and SIA’s Certification & Training, including the Certified Contingent Workforce Professional (CCWP & SOW) accreditation program, and CW Workshops. Along with the CWS Council Team, she is responsible for assisting CWS Council members deploying strategies for managing their workforce in the areas of strategy and execution, negotiation, program design, legal and contractual concerns, risk mitigation and more.
